Since 1989, at Pago Finca Élez, we have been working with a unique and singular clone of Chardonnay originating from the French region of Burgundy that was planted in the highest part of our estate in the plot named “La viña vieja”.
A perfectly adapted variety to our Terroir that produces low yields, small berries, great fruit concentration and a natural ability to retain acidity during ripening.
The result, exceptional wines that have won a long list of awards and recognitions.

By selecting the best plots every year, we elaborate a series of monovarietal wines in the winery, of which we bottle a limited edition. Selection in the field, manual harvesting, selection in the winery and a meticulous and artisan elaboration in foudres, vats and small concrete tanks are the ingredients that contribute to the elaboration of this careful selection of white and red wines.
